How easy/difficult is it to place a rear axle of a RX7 SA/FB under a Mazda 1300.
I see the advantage of the rear disks and perhaps a stronger diff, but what is the length difference and can that axle be converted to leaf springs.
Or should I convert my 1300 to rear springs

There is a complete axle offered and it made me think.

A engine upgrade is on the wishlish, looking for around 130-150pk. Not sure the standard axle can handle that.
So a RX7 one seems a good idea, as a added bonus it comes with rear disc brakes.

So I thought it made sense, but perhaps it is not necessary
