Sounds cool, altough my ride is 5spd sticky.

I have the following parts for it: FC S4 13B (146HP) complete with everything, 12A Front Plate, FC gearbox and RX7 SA Rear End with Disc Brake(4*110 Bolt pattern).

I heard, the normal 323 FA can be modified in order to fit 13B, because its impossoble to find here RX3 crossmember. I also short of money a bit, I can use what I find here. I also heard, many RX7 SA parts bolt on 323FA, for example the front suspension with bigger brakes, is it true?


Can I use the original RX7 FC driveshaft or just this 1300 drive shaft?

Do you have some link maybe photos about your 12A 323?

Unfortunately, when I was younger and we did not have digital cameras, I took no pictures.

Yes the RX7 struts and brakes will fit but you must be careful because the stub axles on the RX7 are at a different angle to the 323 - you may end up with positive camber.
I cannot tell you about the brakes because I did not change mine - they are the same size as RX2 and the engineer was happy with power to weight ratio. I did change the brake compound
and the brakes were perfect for street driving and driving through twisting roads. Do not forget the 323 only weighs about 850kg so unless you are going to rally or road race, you do not need massive brakes.

Do not worry about the drive shaft yet until you are ready to fit the motor and gearbox. Until you know how you will mount the motor and gearbox to the car - the final position, you cannot measure the tailshaft yet.
For me, it is important to not cut anything in the car, I assembled my motor and gearbox and positioned in the car so the gearstick came out of the original hole in the transmission tunnel.

I will use pictures from my 626 to give you an example:

For you, because you are using an FC gearbox, you can customise the position of the gear stick. This picture shows you unmodified S4T gearshift versus S5T modified shift.

Ohh nice, cheers for the pics and the ebay link and also the infos, I didnt know, in Aus this RX3 Crossmember is available:).

I weighed my FA, it weighs just 820kg with almost an empty tank...I know the standard brakes are almost enough. What I wanted to ask: do u use premix? What about fuel consumption, if you drive normal?

Yes, I use pre-mix but, I have a bridgeported engine that has been built and balanced to rev to 10,000rpm. I make maximum power at 7800rpm.
If your engine is standard and you are driving your car every day, then leave the standard oil injection system. It works fine.

You will get approximately 12L/100km, if you don't like rev the engin too much! ;-) :-)

10000 oh my godness, I'll be happy with the 7000:).

12L is allright, I wanna use the stamdard fc ecu and efi system, no carburator, it can also decrease the fuel consumption a bit and a free flow exhaust system.
