From "Hirst"
Just thought I'd post up a few details about this one - every year in Lunteren (in the Netherlands) they hold a one day event called Japan Classic Sunday, basically an all-marques event for classic Japanese tin.
It
's meant to be a nice relaxed meet, starts at 10.00am and finishes at 4.30pm, more just an opportunity to get together with odd machinery.
Hope Thomas won't mind me linking his galleries:

A pretty varied selection of stuff I think you'll agree!
Some of us in the UK on Retro Rides are planning to take our cars over there on the ferry, probably for the weekend rather than trying to do it all in one day. The best route seems to be Harwich to Hoek Van Holland which works out at about £100 return per car, though alternatives exist (Dover to Dunkirk, Hull to Rotterdam). If you land in Rotterdam or Hoek Van Holland it's only about 70 miles to the event so shouldn't take too long.
If you're interested or have any questions, post up! It's a long time away so we're still figuring out the best way to do it and who wants to turn up. Would be interesting if people from other European countries made it over as well.
Hoping the 2000GT will turn up so I can put the Charmant next to it and cross it off the list of exotic J-tin I've devalued by parking next to it.
