Karbaer hat Recht. Es gibt kaum Liebhaber für diese Sorte Autos. Zumindest im Vergleich zu Deutschen Fabrikaten. Aber das wird Dierk vermutlich auch noch feststellen müssen.

So, probably i have all the ugly dugs in my collection. ;-).. They buy well, but sell bad.
the RX-5 (the real one)
the 929L Hardtop
the 626 coupe
and the 929 coupe
That is funny because I like the cars that are not popular, and YES, bad to try and sell again!
My old RX5 - sold for $200
My old 121L - I gave this car free because no-one wanted it.
JC Cosmo 20B - I sold the engine for $3500, the rolling body for $2500. I paid $40,000!!!!!!
And now, 3 x CB2 626 Coupes, 1 x 929L sedan. Maybe I should stop wasting money!!!!!

And why did you sell the cars? Why didn't you keep them?

I had to sell them so that I could repair the Cosmo. The 20B engine is very expensive to repair! :-(
I blew an apex seal chasing an AMG Mercedes.

my price is just a try - I still like this car and I do not have to sell it.
If nobody reacts to my price I will keep it - no problem.....
the silver one looks really good ;-)

Rotated, but why did you sell the Cosmo then?
I sold it because I became angry with it and I did not love it anymore! I think we may all have owned cars like this!!!!
I learned many things - crazy Mazda engineering decisions, removing and replacing the motor at home, by myself!!!!!
I still wish I owned this car, It was beautiful to drive - comfortable, powerful, effortless, but I was never sure when I put the key into the ignition, if it was going to start.
I do not like owning cars like this. That is why I prefer naturally aspirated cars with carburetors. No computer, no turbo, no complex wiring harnesses to try and diagnose.
If I owned a Cosmo again, I would completely replace the wiring harness in the engine bay. Why? Because the heat soak from the turbos "cooks" the engine bay wiring harness,
which is about 60mm in diameter, causing extremely difficult-to-find electrical faults.

I own a cosmo 20B. Never had any problems like this. It´s always running perfect. Maybe you´ve been chasing AMG´s too often?

You are lucky then. The problem with my Cosmo was that the previous Australian owner had modified the car
with a very powerful single turbo 20B engine with different computer, then he decided to sell the car, so took the modified engine out and put a standard motor back in.
I think it was these modifications that caused my problems after I bought the car. :-(
I would love to import an original(not modified) JC Cosmo directly from Japan, but our import laws do not allow us to do that anymore. I can dream! :-)
So my dream now is, the "new" 929L i now have will become an RX9 with a fuel injected, peripheral ported 20B!!!!!!!! 400hp at the rear wheels,
but look completely factory original from the outside. We call this a "sleeper". No-one can tell from the outside until you press the accelerator pedal.
Maybe the exhaust sound might give it away. :-)
This is the style of engine going into the 929L:

I think, Dierk is not answering here anymore. He didn't even answer my question what he understands under "Legato".
Rotated, this is the reason why I buy cars with it's original engine only! I'm not a fan of cars with changed engines...

Yes, I understand you feelings. I do not have a problem with modified cars, as long as the modification has been performed well - good engineering,
clean installation - looks like a factory installation. I have built my Beige 626 exactly like this. I know all the modifications I have performed without
damaging the structure of the car, and can return this car back to 2.0L any time I would like to, which will not ever happen while I own this car. :-)
